Find my Way

Find My Way is the dictionary definition of cinematic, high-energy show opener. Close your eyes and listen to this song, and you’ll see the stage lights hit as the first guitar lick screams out when the band cues out of the “intro tape”. The song also features a metrically disorienting instrumental section, and poetic lyrics about turning dreams into reality.

The Edge

The Edge could really just as well be called “Living by the Edge of Desire”. As the album’s final statement, it leaves the listener in a state of trust and bravery to go out on the edge and take the leap  into living life to the fullest.

The Unknown

The Unknown started as a keyboard-driven song, and became perhaps the most technical and heaviest song on the album. It features every instrument, including guitar and bass shredding, a tremendously dramatic vocal melody, and great counterpoint.

My World

My World offers a different side of the Lufeh / Luggage Falling Down sound. It’s almost a power ballad but with the rollercoaster twist and turns of a Prog Metal band. The song features a phrygian dominant chord structure, a bulbul tarang solo, a shredding guitar solo, a funk break down, and lyrics that focus heavily on doing the right thing.

Escape

Escape deals with the faith it takes to move out of a stagnant or unhealthy situation while still holding true to the values you identify with. In true Luggage Falling Down fashion, this heavy subject is faced fearlessly and authentically with a groovy, upbeat charisma.

Doors

Doors takes us to new places much as the title would suggest. It tells an emotional story but one that ultimately ends in triumph. It is a fun track because of the speed at which this band is capable of taking the listener through a series of different musical moods. It’s emotionally and instrumentally perhaps the most diverse songs on the album.

End of the Road

End of the Road is upbeat, catchy, and thrilling. Bass and keyboard counterpoint lead beautifully into a jazzy classic rock verse and chorus, but are interrupted by moments of heavy metal and of introspective soul-searching.

Trial of Escapade

"Trial of Escapade has a special mix of a funky groove with very dramatic vocals. Though much of the main riff and verse relies on a repeating 4-chord structure, you wouldn’t notice it on first listen due to the creative voicings of each of the chords and the variations they go through. This song’s chorus is one of the most memorable features of the whole album, and beautifully contrasts its moving bass lines and iconic guitar-bass unisons."
